Music and Arts-Related Programs in the Schools

The Foundation is setting dates now for the Trenton School District, bringing in programs to assemblies in the schools.

On April 15, 2010 the group MC2 (Music Connecting Character) performed at Gregory School, on Rutherford Avenue in Trenton. The Trenton Musicians Foundation was happy to provide this entertainment and education for the children. The cheering from the students, and the thanks from the principal and attending educators showed that a good, educational, musical time was had by all.

Music Connecting Character is a band that uses music, skits and audience interaction to support, reflect, and encourage character development for today's students/families.

"What a wonderful assembly!! Our students (Kindergarten) thoroughly enjoyed the program. The teachers often play the music on the CD's in their classrooms. This is one assembly that has a message that lasts all year!"
Principal Nancy Kreischer,
Oceanville and Pomona Kindergarten Learning Centers
Galloway Township, NJ

The music, most all original, and some popular, is all performed live. All of the songs used focus on the thematic concepts presented. Assemblies are lively, creative, and are designed for three levels: K-2/3, Grades 3-6 and Families/Communities. MC² stands for Music Connecting Character, and they've been serving New Jersey and Pennsylvania schools for six years.
